Reflexology is a complementary therapy that works on the theory that the reflexes on the feet and hands correspond to organs, glands and parts of the body. By applying a gentle pressure to these reflexes, reflexology aims to stimulate the bodies own healing, aid a deep sense of relaxation and restore the body to it's natural balance.
Reflexology is a non invasive therapy that is entirely natural. Treatments can work independently or complement allopathic medicine perfectly. Reflexology can be used to maintain continuous wellbeing or a treatment plan can be devised to help with diagnosed conditions or symptoms present of the following. This list is by no means extensive:
A typical treatment will take place in Lindsay's therapy room located by her home in Great Dunmow. The first session will begin with a full health assessment so that Lindsay can gain an understanding of how reflexology can help you best and any contraindications. This will be followed by at 45 minute reflexology session. Lindsay strives to give practical, realistic health and lifestyle advice to help you reach your full health potential.
Please come to your appointment with washed clean feet. Feel free to wear whatever is comfortable for you, as long as you can easily remove shoes, socks and tights for your treatment.
